1. How Our Tool Works

7 Letter Word Finder is a client-side web application. All word-matching logic runs in JavaScript inside your browser using a dictionary that is downloaded once when the page loads. When you type letters into the search fields and press “Find Words”, that computation happens locally on your device. No search query, no letter combination, and no result set is ever transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere outside your browser session.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any other personal information
• The letters or words you search for
• Your search history
• Account credentials (no accounts exist on this site)
• Payment information (the tool is entirely free)

3. What We Store Locally on Your Device

The only data stored on your device is your theme preference (light or dark mode), which is saved to your browser's localStorage. This is a small piece of text stored in your own browser so the site remembers your display preference between visits. It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted anywhere, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage (or simply resetting the toggle on the site). 4. Analytics and Third-Party Services

This site does not currently use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service. No tracking pixels, session recorders, or advertising scripts are loaded on any page.

We do load fonts from Google Fonts via Next.js's built-in font optimisation. When your browser requests a font file from Google's servers, Google may log your IP address as part of standard web server logging. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have no control over, and no access to, that data.

5. Children's Privacy

7 Letter Word Finder is a general-purpose word game tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us in error, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we ever introduce advertising, analytics, or any other data collection, we will update this policy before doing so and reflect the change in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We will never retroactively change how data was collected without disclosure.
